hmm, i haven't been blogging for the past few weeks, so i thought i should revive my blog with a really long post. heh
5 june:
0855h - in school to collect stuff, give out stuff and settle payment(with both paying and collecting money)
1000h - at st john room to put group stuff for camp
1030h - fire-starting lesson by senior jiahui with charcoal and a toaster oven tray(which eventually failed)
1200h - lunch with gengyu and huiyee at coronation
6 june: slacking at home
7 june: supposed to go watch x-men 3 with some friends, but xinyi cannot go, then yong en and alfred don't want to go, then i feel very awkward watching a movie with 2 guys, so i didn't go in the end. the movie outing was scrapped lar
8 june:
1330h - in school to practice dance steps for bbq nite
1400h - commencement of practice, which ended at 4
9 june:
1000h - in school(again) to practice dance steps(again)
1300h - lunch with seniors georgina, kaiyu and gwendolyn and fellow squadmate angie, at KAP
10 june:
1100h - lunch at a Tung Lok restaurant(to make use of the $100 voucher that we got from buying a fridge from Courts)
1600h - cell starts
1800h - service starts. preacher: pastor Paul Andrew from Hillsong Church in Sydney
11 june:
didn't go to church cos there was no children's ministry
1300h - left home to go to somerset mrt for CIP
1400h - still on train, but reaching
1410h - reached somerset, exited from the wrong entrance, but got to the right place. assembly place changed because of the rain
1840h - reached home in time to watch x-men 2 on channel 5(i love the x-men series!). didn't manage to collect a lot of donations in the afternoon
2000h - started packing for the camp on the next day
12 june:
0655h - in school for camp
0730h - fall in at track
0745h - area cleaning
1100h - first triage of camp (i was the casualty, and i died)
sometime in the morning - bag check (i had my stuff confiscated, cos i forgot to take them out of my bag)
1200h - lesson on note tying and demonstration on tent pitching
1230h - tent pitching
1300h - demonstration on outdoor cooking
1330h - outdoor cooking: we had to dig a pit and start a fire with
1545h - lunch and cleaning up
1600h - debrief
1630h - citylink: it's something where everyone is in push-up position(male), and one by one everybody has to crawl through the tunnel
sometime in the afternoon - personal arrangement
1830h - dinner and cleaning up
2000h - footdrill
2130h - water parade: this is where you have to fill up your mug to the brim and hold it up 90 degrees, and then salt will be added. you have to drink everything up and then hold the empty mug above your head to show that you have finished your drink
2200h - supper and cleaning up
2230h - lights out

0300h - night sentry duty
0630h - fall in at track
0700h - breakfast and cleaning up
0745h - TOPO: this is where we have to walk for the whole distance, which in this case is 13.3km
1st stop - sixth ave
2nd stop - holland rd
3rd stop - ulu pandan rd
4th stop - clementi rd
5th stop - dover mrt station
6th stop - north buona vista rd
7th stop - ford ave
8th stop - leedon drive
9th stop - farrer rd
we were supposed to walk back to NYPS, and then back to school, but there was no time, so we took 174 back, and yes, my group was last, because of a wrong decision

1400h - disabled: it's a game where you're either blind, paralysed or mute(i was blind), and the blind and mute have to work together to transport the paralysed somewhere else. there is this 2m rule, whereby you have to be within a 2m radius of someone else

1900h - bbq nite
2200h - supper, cleaning up and water parade
2330h - lights out
14 june:
3 something in the morning - heavy rain, so we shifted to the classrooms
3 something in the morning - night walk(not scary at all, NCOs just sit there, we stare at them, they stare at us..)
6 something - 4 triages, only 2 actual ones, cos the other 2 times we couldn't find the assembly place in time. the last triage i died cos building collapsed when we were reaching the assembly place
0700h - fall in, then breakfast and cleaning up
0745h - area cleaning and clearing of tents
1040h - debrief, award presentation and reflections
1320h - home sweet home
15 and 16 june: slacking at home again
17 june:
1600h - in church for cell, then we went to blk 40a to pray for the food trail this coming saturday
1700h - dinner with friends at the hawker centre
1800h - service
18 june:
led worship for children's ministry, then had a small skit about the modern version of the parable of the prodigal son, and i was the nightclub dancer together with sarah, belle joy, grace and lynette
supposed to go for CIP at somerset again, but cos shara says she wants to go next sunday, and i didn't want to go alone, so i decided to go next sunday.
19 to 21 june:
my cousin leanne came over to stay. her brother gavan also came on monday to play, but he left in the night cos he didn't want to stay. we made chocolate chip cookies, helped my mom cook dinner, played SIMS, watched tv and chatted in the night before we slept. leanne left early in the morning today cos she had to be in school at 8. she was supposed to leave yesterday, but she stayed another day, for what reason i also don't know
hmm.. i guess i've been having a rather busy holiday. i have to finish up all my homework during these last few days of the holidays. haiis, i so need and want the holidays to be longer. why don't we have summer and winter holidays like in other countries? we can have a rainy season holiday and a super hot season holiday, in addition to the march, june, september and december holidays?
