haiis, today's the last day of sabbatical week, but it was quite a nice ending. i took silk screen and math and music, which i was kinda forced into taking(cos all the others are either not nice or full).
we kinda screwed up the music performance with the thumb piano. the teachers said it wasn't original, but i like it, heh. we did a medley of Doh Re Mi, Elmo's World ending song(childish right?) and Long Long Ago, which was suddenly made famous after a long time by this guy in Singapore Idol who sang Nong Nong Ago. apparently mr tan didn't know what elmo's world ending song is, and mrs ho said our songs were all grade 1 songs. but i like the thumb piano ok? except for the flower that cheryl drew around the hole(it was out of shape). heh.
i screwed up my t-shirt design and my screen during silk screen. i smudged the ink while bringing my shirt to hang outside the art room, and i tried to be a smart aleck by washing the whole damn shirt and getting it all wet(but i got most of the smudge marks of ok?), so i dried it with a hairdryer, cos there was some disgusting orange thingy on the iron that looked like rust, and just as i was about the continue with my t-shirt design, there was some green eeky stain on my shirt, and i can't believe mr lim actually thought i dropped my shirt on grass. i think the green stain came from the grill outside the art room where my shirt was drying. mr lim gave me a new shirt to print on, and i hope i don't screw it up, but WHY DID MR LIM ASK ME TO BRING THE SHIRT BACK?? he's not making sense. i might as well leave the shirt in school, so it can save me some trouble and i won't have to worry about getting the shirt dirty at home or not bringing it when i'm supposed to do my print. and oh yes, the screen. i forgot to wash the screen, and the acryllic dried on it, so mr lim asked me to try to get rid of the paint, and so i did, and also, unknowingly, removed the chemicals cos i scrubbed it too hard, so now i have to make a new screen. how nice..
cca was ok. WE WORE HALF-U FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY! we had pt, and to be truthful, i hate pt(who likes it?). we ran 2 rounds around the school and did 25 crunches, pumpings and so on. then we completed a bit of the punishment we owe. seriously, i thought we cleared 25 of our 100 pumpings in the last cca. i don't know why shao ting said we still owed pumpings, but that's not the point. anyway, we got a water break after we had 5 solid bangs during footdrill. oh yes, I LOVE THE BERET! it's so cool! i think i look nice in the beret. and the SJAB shirt is so nice! i love the material! my feet are aching from all that banging with my boots. after footdrill, we had camp briefing. i'm in grp B, and my seniors have decided to call my grp Bingo. it at least sounds nicer than colgate right(there's a grp called colgate)?
i think mr tan k. c. from math and music still doesn't know i'm from SJAB(he's the teacher I/C). i was in the music room packing my bag, and he was standing somewhere near, and i decided to hold my notes and first aid manual in my hand, so i put it on the floor while putting some other stuff in my bag. he saw the first aid manual(i think), and just stared at me for a while instead of coming to talk to me. so i guess he still doesn't know i'm from his cca.
i'll be going for Inspire 06 this sunday and 2 more sundays. we'll be at orchard selling teddy bears to raise money for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, if i'm not wrong. someone said it's a joint effort to raise money with hwa chong institution, as usual. our school's always doing stuff with hwa chong. i can't wait to go on sunday, but so far neither me nor my friends have gotten any news on this thing, like where to meet, what time to meet, attire and so on. how are we going to go if we have no news?
i'm super tired now, so i shall just stop here and go and sleep. i can't wait for the next sabbatical week. i sure hope i get a sabbatical of my choice the next time! au revoir(it means bye in french)!
