I just love KL. There's something for eveyone in the family there. Amusement parks for kids and shopping centres for women. Not to forget restaurants for the whole family. Lemme tell you more abt the trip...
Day 1
Woke up very early on 12 June cos the coach was scheduled to leave at 8am. Hafta be there at 7.30 am to get bus no. When we got there there was a jam so there were some delays. Finally we got on the bus. After abt 30 mins we got to the checkpoint where we had our passports chopped. After abt 30 more mins, we were in Malaysia already. After some travelling we were at the checkpoint where they did random checking of bags. Our bags weren't checked, so we just had to walk through.
After abt 5 hours of travelling, we reached KL!!! However we got off somewhere on the roads cos there was a big jam and we were scared tt we would be held up on the bus for a long time, so we didn't get off at Pudu Raya. Well, i was quite happy we didn't get off there, but in the end we still went there to book the return coach. A cockroach almost got on my aunt's luggage. Luckily i lifted her bag. This gives you an idea how dirty it is there.
We checked into the hotel, Suite Stay, at abt 4pm. After taking a shower, we went to Suria KLCC to shop and take dinner. My brother bought this puzzle which cost abt RM12. We all managed to solve the puzzle within like 3 mins or so. Since it was so easy, my mum told him to go and get a refund, but he refused. He also bought a pen with invisible ink. The words written can only be seen when a special light is shone on it.
We went back to the hotel at abt 10 pm. We had a feast, a sushi feast. We bought sushi and cakes from the local Cold Storage. We watched TV until abt 12mn. In the meanwhile, we were also playing card games. We went to sleep at 12mn cos we were going to Berjaya Times Square(BTS) the next day.
Day 2
We woke up at abt 6.30am and went down to the restaurant to have our buffet breakfast. Ther was Nasi Lemak, cereal(i mean stuff like Fruit Loops and Honey Stars). There even was a toaster for you to toast bread! After breakfast, it was still too early, so we went to Plaza Low Yat to slack around at the Starbucks there. I love Ice Latte!!! When it was abt time, we went to BTS(if you dunno where this is, pls refer to the orange words). We spent the whole morning at the amusement park there. I even got a high score at the Super Shooter(some basket tt moving around and you have to shoot as many balls as you can...)!
After tt, we went to Sungei Wang for lunch at the Swensen's there. We went shopping there and i bought a CD at Popular there. Too bad i couldn't use the vouchers there. When we went back to the hotel, my cousin and i went swimming. When we were done, we went up to the hotel room to take a shower. After tt, as usual, we went to Suria KLCC for dinner. After tt, SHOPPING again!!!!! We bought sushi again and had a big feast!!!
Day 3
Woke up a bit later. Went down for breakfast as usual. But this time there was an 'egg bar'. 'Egg bar' as in they fry eggs for you there. After tt we went back to the hotel room and stayed there until 1pm, which was the check-out time. Actually the check-out time was 11 am, but we managed to get a later check-out time. After tt, we went to Suria KLCC again to eat. After tt we went to take a cab to Pudu Raya. The local drivers there actually bully foreigners. One charged us RM25 just to get from Petronas Twin Towers to Pudu Raya. Another asked for RM 10. We managed to get one for RM 7. And since my dad tot it was quite reasonable, he gave a tip of RM 3 to the driver. We met up with my aunt and uncle and cousin and granny and went to MacDonalds to eat. My mother and granny went to Chinatown to look at imitation bags for my aunt.
At 4.30pm, we boarded the bus heading for Singapore. After abt 3 hours of travelling, we stopped over at a restaurant to go to the toilet and buy stuff. After tt, we took another 2 hours to go to Johor. After passing the checkpoint there, we travelled a bit further to Woodlands Checkpoint, where our bags were checked. After tt we took a taxi back home.
